Teacher grants are intended to support innovative ideas that enhance the educational program, pilot novel strategies, courses of study, materials or equipment that expand the curriculum by introducing new ideas to classrooms, grades or schools.
Ms. Cicolello and Ms. Sinclair’s grants were funded in full; however, Ms. Lee requested an additional $1,515.00, which remains unfunded. The Achieve Foundation invites community members to participate in “direct grant funding” through January 31st to complete the unfunded portion of the grants.
In all, the Achieve Foundation awarded 44 teacher grants totaling $50,000. For a complete list of this year’s grant recipients and their projects, or to participate in the direct funding opportunity, please visit www.achievefoundation.org.
