Tuscan students were treated to an exciting assembly last Monday morning. Four dancers from the multicultural Philadelphia-based Illstyle and Peace Productions, founded in 2002 by Brandon "Peace" Albright, shared "Becoming Your Dreams: The History of Hip Hop". They led students through colorful stories, demonstrations, and thrilling acrobatics that charted the evolution and art of hip hop. Students learned about the stylistic differences between poppin', lockin', and breakin' and were invited to share some of their own moves on stage at the end of the performance.
