Tuscan Show 2018 Sign Up!
It's time to sign up for "Another Openin' Another Show, Tuscan Celebrates the Theater!" Many, many thanks to all of our parent volunteer directors who stepped up with their fabulous ideas for this year’s show as we honor the theater with fabulous Broadway numbers from yesterday and today.
Registration will officially open on Wednesday, November 29th and close, Wednesday, December 6 at 6PM.
Please review the rehearsal dates, eligible grades and skit choices with your child. At registration, each child may select a 1st and 2nd choice (please select both; skits are NOT first come first serve, lotteries are expected to be held for ALL skits). Registration form here.
Art crew (grades 3-5) and technical/backstage crew (grades 4-5) is also an available choice. Rehearsals will officially begin the week of January 1st but your directors will be in touch if they plan to schedule a pre-holiday rehearsal.

MONDAY
Monday - 3:30-4:30 pm. - WEST SIDE STORY (5th Graders)
Come ahead and be a cool kid by joining our West Side Story skit for the Tuscan show. By the way there is literally a song from it called cool. You can choose what side you want to be on, either a Jet or a Shark. If you want something fun, come join our West Side Story! Just so you know this involves a lot of snapping, so get ready!

Monday - 6:30-7:30 CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (2nd Graders)
Come get your Golden Ticket! Join the Oompa Loompas for a sweet and magical journey through Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. With ever-lasting gobstoppers, golden eggs, and wonka bars, this experience is sure to be a treat!

TUESDAY
Tuesday 5:30-6:30 JERSEY BOYS(4th & 5th graders)
Who Loves You Pretty Baby? We do! We're looking for some Jersey boys to walk like a man and some Jersey girls (who don't cry) to give the Tuscan audience Oh, What a Night to remember.

Tuesday 6:30-7:30 STOMP (3rd & 4th Graders)
Come make some noise- take ordinary objects and make extraordinary rhythms. Brooms, buckets, garbage can lids and more will create a beat to get the audience out of their seats!

Tuesday 6:30-7:30 HAIRSPRAY! (Grades 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders)
Welcome back to the 1960s! Join us as we celebrate the spirit of this 2003 Tony-award winning musical! A young girl in Baltimore takes a once-in-a-lifetime shot to dance on a popular TV show and turns it into campaign for equal rights for everyone. Let’s show the world that "You Cant’ Stop the Beat!” still rings true in 2018!

The show can’t go on without the set. Join Tuscan’s own Mr. Dean to design, build and paint the scenery that helps the show come to life.

Get ready to ROAR! We need some fierce beasts to shake their tails and tail feathers! Stampede over to the savanna with us in the “Circle of Life.”

Wednesday 4:30-5:30 PETER PAN (2nd Graders)
Join us on a trip to Never Never Land in this number for 2nd graders! We'll be singing, dancing, maybe even flying to songs from Peter Pan.

Wednesday 6:00-7:00 GUYS AND DOLLS (2nd & 3rd Graders)
Roll the dice with some gamblers, gangsters and show stopping songs! We are looking for guys and dolls to rock the boat and star in this classic broadway hit.

Calling all REVOLTING CHILDREN!! Come join us and show Miss Trunchbull who's boss. And remember: sometimes you have to be a little bit NAUGHTY!

It’s the dawning of the age of Aquarius! We are looking for 1st and 2nd grade hippies and flower children to join our tribe. We will rock out with HAIR and LET THE SUN SHINE in this colorful and fun celebration of peace and love!

It's a hard knock life...but the sun will come out tomorrow! Join us in celebrating one of the greatest musicals ever written. We think you're gonna like it here!

Looking for some young and scrappy patriots to be in the room where it happens. We hope all of our Elizas and Alexanders will rise up to the challenge and take their shot at telling the story of our founding fathers with a little dance and rhyme.

ADDITIONAL
Backstage/technical crew (Grades 4 - 5 only). No weekly rehearsals held. Expect to attend one meeting prior to tech week. All crew members will be required to be in attendance for all dates during tech week and shows, March 19 - 25, 2018.
